Our Dolce Dahlias pattern was designed exclusively for Pax Philomena by a very special Italian artist who just retired from the fashion business after 40 years of serving the top Italian brands in the world. Jean Marie, our founder, has known him from the time that she first interned in Como, Italy in 1990.

Jean Marie, who is an avid gardener, wanted a design to remind her, of her family home on the Isle of Wight in the UK where her dahlias can grow up to 4 feet tall! Sadly in Phoenix she cannot grow them as it is just too HOT! Dahlias, for Jean Marie, are a SWEET symbol of wonderful times spent with her UK aunts and uncles on the isle!
